From Mobile Engineer
to Digital All-Rounder
I grew up in the province of Cebu, Philippines — a kid who loved computers and dreamed of building things. That drive earned me a DOST scholarship and a spot on the Dean's List at the Cebu Institute of Technology, where I graduated with a BS in Information Technology.
For over 13 years, I poured my energy into iOS and mobile development. I built apps from the ground up using Objective-C and Swift, scaled them to hundreds of thousands of users, and shipped across industries — Finance, Health & Wellness, Security, Retail, and beyond. I worked with international teams at companies like Dev Partners Pte Ltd (Singapore), Simply RFID Inc., Appetiser Apps, and uHoo Limited.
But in 2024, I made a deliberate pivot. After years of building the product, I wanted to understand how to bring it to the right audience. I asked myself: "What's the point of a great app if nobody finds it?" That question led me to SEO, GEO, and WordPress — and I've never looked back.
Today, I combine my deep technical background with modern digital marketing skills. I'm currently attending the PinoySEO PH Bootcamp — an intensive program focused on SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and WordPress — sharpening my ability to help businesses rank, be discovered, and convert. When I'm not coding or optimizing, you'll find me farming, cycling, playing pool, or reading manga in the peaceful mountains of Balamban.
